The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) allows Canadian provinces and territories to nominate individuals who have the skills, education, and work experience needed to contribute to their local economy and who wish to become Permanent Residents of Canada.

Applicants may apply through either:

Express Entry-Aligned Streams (Enhanced PNP)

Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements of both the province and a federal Express Entry program. A provincial nomination through Express Entry provides an additional 600 CRS points, significantly increasing the chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Permanent Residence.

Non-Express Entry Streams (Base PNP)

Candidates apply directly to the province or territory. Once nominated, they submit a Permanent Residence application to the Government of Canada through the non-Express Entry process.
